ELE USAL has the seal of the University of Salamanca in the teaching of Spanish and transfers the experience and quality of USAL International Courses. ELE USAL is the continuation of the legacy in the teaching of Spanish of the University of Salamanca, the first university institution in Spain. In 1492 the USAL became the cradle of Spanish language with the publication of the first Grammar of the Castilian Language by Antonio de Nebrija.

Since then, the University of Salamanca has made many efforts to promote the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
